Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a rebate if another locator has already taken me to the property?
No. You must state to the property on the first visit that FreeRent4U.com has referred you.

What if I already know which apartment I want to rent?
On your initial visit to the apartments, you must advise the leasing agent that FreeRent4U has referred you to the property and include FreeRent4U on any rental application. Your leasing agent should be able to help you fill in the required information.

How long does it take to get my rebate?
Usually between 2 to 8 weeks. The time depends on the apartment complex, some pay sooner than later.

How are you able to give rebates?
Properties pay Licensed Real Estate Agents to bring renters to their property. FreeRent4U.com simply turns around and gives you a portion of this back as a rebate.

Will my rent be higher if I use a locator?
NO. Absolutely not. The properties pay locators out of their marketing budget. This budget is set and does not affect the rent. Paying a one-time fee is very inexpensive, when the customer will pay every month.

If I don’t see an apartment listed on your website search, can I still use FreeRent4U.com as my locator?
As long as the property you visit, works with locators, and pays at least a 50% commission, you can use our service!
